Catch Iran actress stunning transformation

The first image of famed Iranian actress Behnoush Tabatabaee in full costume and makeup as “Nancy” in the musical adaptation of 'Oliver Twist' has been released.

Directed by Hossein Parsaee and produced by Jalil Kia, this production brings a fresh theatrical adaptation of English novelist Charles Dickens’ beloved classic to the Iranian stage.

The upcoming performance by the actress of iFilm's 'On the Way to Zayandehroud' on stage promises an impressive portrayal of Nancy, a character whose concern for Oliver overcomes her loyalty.

Soheil Danesh‑Eshraqi serves as the costume designer in the work, while the meticulous character makeup is by Ali Shafiee‑Sabet.

This lavish staging will take place at the Tennis Stadium of the Enqelab Cultural and Sports Complex in Tehran, with ticket sales to be announced soon.
